IS THERE A CATERPILLAR IN THE HOUSE?

When I'd pegged out all these socks this morning I wondered if I had an Alice in Wonderland kind of caterpillar tucked away somewhere indoors!

As you've probably guessed from my quilts I do like bright colours - and the same goes for socks. Some of these are English, most of the plain ones were bought in C& A in Holland. They're generous enough for my big feet, unlike a lot of the English socks.
The clothes prop on the extreme left is holding up next door's fence panel - again...

Lovely colourful socks Sylv. Like you I find the usual UK socks not big enough for my size 7 and a half feet especially after a wash or two.

Lovely!
You're not into fish-net tights then Sylve? :)
Anyway, I'm glad to see you have an even number up there - If it were my line there would be 7, 9 or 11.
It's a nice wide picture on my screen here. The Widget Cat is sitting in the garden. :) I think you might have clicked on 'extra large' for the picture as it is 640 pix wide rather than your usual 320. Go to edit (that little pencil at the bottom, where it says "Posted by Sylve") click on the photo and select 'Large'. Don't forget there is a 'preview' button, so you can check things like picture size and layout. :)
I shall now know how to recognize you in Thame Market. (says he looking at all the ladies feet!) :O

Jane - Mens socks are such boring colours when all you want is something that fits!
Haven't worn tights in decades, Bernard. I'll be watching for a mature gent studying tootsies on Tuesdays! I did use the pic as extra large...
Hallo Jill, thanks for visiting. I like to watch washing flapping in the breeze, it's hypnotising!
I think the socks are trying to run away, Kath!

Love them Sylve. Now if that was me I'd have compulsively paired them and had to find pegs to match the colour of each pair !!

i used to wear white terry towelling socks and colour coded each pair underneath the toes!!! Coloured pegs don't work on my line, which seems to be too thin so just the old fashioned wooden ones.
Hope you had a wonderful holiday, have been following you on your blog.
